CHALLENGE
Frank And Oak’s Hybridwear collection needed to articulate a clear position within the growing intersection of performance, lifestyle, and everyday utility — without falling into overly technical or purely fashion-driven messaging.
The challenge was to define a new behavioural space for the product: clothing designed for movement between contexts, where work, travel, and downtime blur, and dressing becomes more adaptive than occasion-led.
APPROACH
I developed the creative and campaign direction around the idea of “time out of structure” - a shift in pace, environment, and expectation that reflects how modern life is actually lived.
Rather than framing Hybridwear through technical performance alone, the narrative focused on motion, transition, and ease, positioning garments as adaptive tools for fluid daily movement across urban and natural settings.
The visual language balanced control and spontaneity, using restrained composition and dynamic sequencing to reflect shifting states rather than fixed moments. I led the campaign direction across digital and social executions, ensuring the storytelling remained cohesive while allowing the product to move naturally between contexts of use.
IMPACT
The campaign clarified Frank And Oak’s Hybridwear offering by defining a more intuitive and lifestyle-driven understanding of performance dressing.
It strengthened category relevance by positioning the collection within a broader cultural shift toward flexible, multi-context living, improving product comprehension and desirability.
Across channels, the work reinforced brand innovation in functional design while supporting stronger engagement and conversion within a growing performance-lifestyle segment.
