CHALLENGE
The campaign was developed around a key seasonal moment in Canada, November, when temperatures shift, behaviour changes, and consumers instinctively turn toward comfort, warmth, and emotional grounding.
The challenge was to translate this behavioural insight and emotional shift into a clear seasonal narrative while maintaining commercial relevance across core categories, particularly knitwear and everyday essentials. The goal was to move beyond product utility and position clothing as part of a more intentional, human response to the season.
APPROACH
I developed the creative and campaign direction around the idea of “kindred moments” — shared, quiet experiences that define the transition into winter.
Rather than treating garments as functional layers, the narrative reframed them as emotional essentials: pieces chosen as acts of care, comfort, and self-gifting during a culturally reflective moment in the year.
Through restrained & intimate visual storytelling, I shaped a seasonal world where feeling led form. Knits and core wardrobe pieces were positioned as part of everyday rituals - grounding, familiar, and quietly protective as winter approached.
The campaign was designed to feel understated but intentional, allowing tone, texture, and atmosphere to carry the message across digital and social touchpoints.
IMPACT
The campaign resonated strongly with audiences by aligning product storytelling with a real seasonal mindset shift, reinforcing relevance at a key commercial moment.
It contributed to a notable lift in knitwear performance across both women’s and men’s categories from Black Friday through Q1, validating the effectiveness of emotion-led seasonal positioning.
The work further strengthened Frank And Oak’s authority in thoughtful, design-led essentials, positioning the brand as a consistent reference point for comfort, quality, and modern seasonal dressing.
