CHALLENGE
As part of a broader brand transformation, Judith & Charles sought to evolve its seasonal expression into a more contemporary luxury space while expanding relevance with a younger, culturally aware audience.
The challenge was to modernize brand perception without diluting its core equity in craftsmanship, quality materials, and understated elegance — strengthening desirability while preserving its quiet, refined identity.
APPROACH
The campaign continued an ongoing collaboration with Montreal-based artist David Umemoto, using art direction as a bridge between fashion, architecture, and cultural expression.
I led the creative direction for the seasonal image system, shaping an editorial-level visual language designed to reposition the brand within a more elevated luxury context.
Rather than treating the campaign as a seasonal refresh, the work focused on long-form brand image building, using composition, texture, and spatial tension to create a more modern and culturally attuned expression of femininity & form.
The campaign was executed across digital, social, OOH, and print, including a large-scale mural installation at Billy Bishop Airport, extending the brand world into physical public space and reinforcing visibility within high-traffic cultural environments.
IMPACT
The work contributed to a clear elevation of Judith & Charles’ brand imagery, strengthening its positioning within the contemporary luxury womenswear landscape.
It helped expand relevance with a younger, design-conscious audience while maintaining credibility with its established customer base.
Across channels and environments, the campaign reinforced a more distinct and modern luxury identity, increasing brand visibility, refreshing perception, and supporting ongoing transformation toward a more culturally attuned and editorially driven positioning.
